Chef Ron Duprat is a well-seasoned culinary expert who has brought his creative flair to some of the finest establishments, including Cedar Hammock Golf & Country Club, Pelican Bay Country Club, Amarillo Golf & Country Club, Bridgewater Golf & Country Club, Gulf Harbour Golf & Country Club, and the legendary Montauk Yacht Club.
Renowned for his mastery of exotic, globally inspired flavors, Chef Ron infuses his Haitian Creole heritage with French and Afro-Caribbean fusion influences. His pantry essentials—vanilla bean, saffron, truffles, Spanish olive oil, and fine haitian chocolate—reflect his refined approach to cuisine. His signature dish, a flourless chocolate cake, is one of his most celebrated creations.
Beyond the kitchen, Chef Duprat is the Executive Producer and Host of Something New to Discover on the Caribbean Food Network. He gained national recognition as one of the top competitors on Bravo TV’s Top Chef and has made appearances on Bar Rescue, The View (ABC), and Beat Bobby Flay (Food Network). His culinary artistry has been featured in BET, Gourmet, Elle, Bon Appétit, Essence, and Ebony Magazine’s Top Chefs (2015/2016).

Chef Duprat proudly serves as a member of the U.S. State Department’s Chef Corps, representing American culinary diplomacy across Southeast Asia through cooking demonstrations and cultural exchanges. Over his career, he has prepared exquisite meals for President and First Lady Obama, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Usher, and many others.
Deeply committed to community and wellness, Chef Ron uses his platform to advocate for healthy eating and fighting childhood obesity. He supports and collaborates with major initiatives including First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, No Hungry Kids, Food for the Poor, the Black Culinary Alliance (BCA), World Central Kitchen, Clean Cook Stove, and Word and Actions.
