Nurse Blake is best known for his funny skits that highlight the struggles and triumphs of the nursing profession. He has gained over 2.7 million followers of nurses and nursing students from around the world. Since creating his first viral video back in 2017, his videos have been viewed over 250,000,000 times. In addition to creating videos, he sold out his comedy show “The Call Light Tour” that toured the US. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 and has worked at major level one trauma centers across the country and is also known for his advocacy work surrounding the FDA’s gay blood donor ban. He created a campaign called Banned4Life that put pressure on the FDA to end their permanent lifetime ban on gay males from donating blood. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Men’s Health, and more. His humor and advocacy work brings others together and shows the power nurses have in their community.
